About Us
The Gulf Coast Society of Fund Raising Executives (GCSFRE) is Southwest Florida’s premier professional fund raising organization. GCSFRE promotes the cause of professional fund raising and serves its members agencies through the development of educational program s and the dissemination of fund raising information.
Meetings: Luncheon meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month (September – June) from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, 1380 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers Florida. Meetings include guest speakers on pertinent topics, handout materials, and resources. The cost to attend is $16 for members and $20 for non-members. Reservations are required.
Membership: Membership is open to any individual, business, organization, or agency. Professionals involved in fund raising and not-for-profit development in Southwest Florida are eligible to join. The membership year runs September 1st through August 31st. Membership dues are $35 per year.
Goals: The goals of GCSFRE are to:
• Provide a network for professionals serving the not-for-profit community • Develop an awareness of resources and promote linkages with the not-for-profit community • Strengthen ties with organizations that fund the not-for-profit community • Improve the art of fund raising in the not-for-profit community • Provide educational and advocacy seminars for professionals to enhance one’s skills, knowledge and provide resources to get the job done |
